Machine safety and operation guide:
Popcorn machine
1. The popcorn machine is tested prior to delivery. However, we require that you test it to to ensure the machine is in working order when we deliver it (you will need to provide a suitable power point). If the customer waives this, they accept that the machine has been delivered in working order.
2. The machine can be operated for 45 minutes continuously and then rested for 15 minutes before being able to operate for another 45 minutes.
3. To operate, plug the machine into a power point. Put in about 1 cup (up to two cups at a time) of corn kernel and about two tablespoons of oil/butter onto the kettle – then put the lid on. Close the glass doors of the popcorn machine and switch the three buttons (Turn, Heat and Warming & Light) to on position.
4. Wait for about 3 to 5 minutes and the corn should start popping. Keep the machine closed until all the corns have popped (if you don’t hear any popping corns anymore, that is the sign that all would have popped already). You can turn the ‘Turn’ and ‘Heat’ buttons off, open the machine, use the lever to empty the kettle, season the popcorn with salt to your taste and enjoy the popcorn.
5. The machine is not attached/screwed to the cart so be careful when moving the cart so that the top portion (popcorn machine) does not fall off the cart.
6. Please note a cleaning fee of $25 (plus GST) applies if the machine is returned without being cleaned.
